MILENA GEORGIEVA — LOOK AROUND COLLECTIVE MURAL

Look around aimed to stimulate the establishment of a local community for young people interested in visual arts.

“More experienced artists, together with everyone who wanted to take part, painted a wall in the Marine park in the city of Burgas, leaving behind the phrase “look around”. Everyone was invited to take part and all materials were provided at the location.

“As a result, passers-by engaged and were happy to see that such fresh artistic initiatives are taking place where they live. A discussion was formed around the need for artistic communities that benefit young emerging practitioners.

“Together with the establishment of Look Around Collective, was my first encounter with being a creative director, organiser and coordinator of a project.”
