JILL CHU DESIGNS THE FUTURE OF FOOD ON OUR TABLES

As the movements of organic food and healthy lifestyles takes the stage on our dinning table, do we really know what it is all about?

“The design is based on my perspective of the future food culture. With all the movements toward a more sustainable future, people paying more attention to what they eat and the organic products advertised.

There are also the ugly truth of pricing and labelling. The 3D printed model has a slanted table with tree roots breaking through. This model can be tableware or an installation, with the variation of object place on it to create individual stories. The concept of food and our table will be ongoing research with more designs to come!”
