A collective reflection exploring the intersections of global issues with our immediate environments through communal paper weaving. This workshop prompted discussion on feelings of apathy aggravated by individualist culture and desensitisation in the media towards solidarity and action. The workshop’s intention was to never weave alone, illustrating that community participation leads to collective liberation. There have been two renditions of this workshop where participants added to the existing weave their feelings, questions and general contributions to themes discussed.
