THE MULTI-FACETED WORLD OF CHAIRA ADELE RUOZZO
As founder and creative director of Vivo Journal, and with her work for NeroEditions, Acne Studios and Lampoon Magazine, Chaira Adele Ruozzo is many things all at once.
DPS Graduate Chaira Adele Ruozzo is many things all at once. Most recently she is the founder and creative director of Vivo Journal. Working for NeroEditions, Acne Studios and Lampoon Magazine, collaborating with other young creatives, she is always open to cross-cultured dialogue.
Vivo is a magazine about the art form of the book as a carrier of culture and anthropology, and acting o the changing relevance of books in our time and life, revealing their socio-political upheavals. Through the divers and unusual range of contributors, Vivo brings perspectives exploring the place and future of the book in contemporary culture.
The publication in its physical form forces us to stop, as much as it requires physical involvement – we know how uncomfortable reading can be. Vivo wishes to use books and printed paper to observe and bring together fragments of humanity, which coexist in the present from the past and the future.
