ZHOUYAN LEE COMMITS TO 30 DAYS OF VISUAL SKETCH

#30DaysofVisualSketchChallenge is a self-initiated project focused on fun-seeking whilst exploring the possibility of digital design using Photoshop and Illustrator.

Designer Zhouyan Lee explains the concept and motivation behind the project: “Most of the sketches were inspired by simple moments of my everyday life or songs/movies I was obsessed with during the day. So every sketch has an interesting background story but I won’t tell unless begged.”

“This project is about experimenting, experimenting and experimenting. The main idea is to get myself into a habit of keeping a ‘diary’ with my professional tools and explore visual aesthetics that fascinates me, instead of limiting myself with client briefs.”

30 interesting sketches that challenge the rules: “The process is very much inspiring since I was pushing the limit of myself, to produce some graphics every day, and to overcome my laziness.”
