NEW BOOKS FROM OLD WASTEPAPER & MINERALS w/ STEPHANIE VICENTE’s RE-PURPOSE

Stephanie Vicente repurposes wastepaper and materials to extend their lifespan by creating handmade books and prints.

Re:Purpose is primarily focused on repurposing wastepaper and deadstock materials, collected in LCC, to create handmade books and prints with my artwork.

The project is an initiative towards encouraging sustainable slow production design processes and conscious buying. It began through the interest of using the university facilities and has grown into a developing business plan to give a longer lifespan to otherwise wasted materials.

Re:Purpose culminated in a series of handmade books (A5 & A4) and prints of various sizes — all made with found paper
