IMOGEN BARNFIELD — NATURAL HISTORY MUSEUM (WOMEN IN SCIENCE)
Illustrations of the scientists that appear in the ‘Women in Science’ tour — designed for a children’s rug at the Natural History Museum.
Imogen Barnfield’s digital and printed posters will be displayed to the public in July. Exploring art styles, Imogen responded to feedback from the client and worked to create their vision for the posters.
“The process of working as a group meant that we had to be communicative, work to a shared schedule, and be proactive in setting up meetings and making progress with the project.”
Imogen was offered an extension to her placement, to design, illustrate and supply a rug for the tour, for children under 6 years old, creating a large world map with small animals to represent the scientists and displayed in the ‘creepy crawlies hall’.
